hard to find Shawnee Pottery giraffe head
planter in mint condition and with one
of the finest and most electrifying glaze
colors you'll see in vintage American
pottery. The work has an adult giraffe
nestling a younger giraffe's head against
his neck, an interesting theme that's
done in the angular Art Deco style from
the mid 20th century. This is a very special
work of Shawnee Pottery, and it's fully
and properly marked on the bottom "Shawnee
USA" and "841". It measures approximately
10.75" high, 4.0" wide, and 5.75" deep
when viewed from the front, and it comes
to you direct from a Portland, Oregon
estate collection exclusive to Collectics
