Shopping Cart: The online shopping cart is a service provided to allow
you to purchase items without filling in an order form with the item information
and price, essentially acting as a continuous order form just for you.
Only secure SSL links are used to transmit your information, and a digital
certificate authenticates our identity to confirm that your order and payment
information is being sent securely to Collectics.
Operation: Below each price is an
Add
To Cart link which will add that item to your secure, personal
shopping cart. Don't worry as you can always remove it if you change your
mind. From your personal cart screen, you can continue shopping by using
the
Back button on your browser or
clicking the
Continue Shopping link
on your cart which takes you back to our Home Page. As you continue shopping,
you can add additional items to the cart as before, and subtotals will
be calculated automatically. You can review the contents of your cart or
checkout at any time by clicking Go To Checkout
at the top of the price column or the textual link at the top of the page.
Checkout: The checkout form is directly
below your shopping cart for easy access anytime. Complete the form and
select your preferred method of payment. Ourprivacy
policy strictly prohibits the sale or sharing of any personal information,
so your privacy is assured. If you are using a Collectics coupon or gift
certificate, enter the number on the form and it will be deducted from
your purchase. Upon completion of the form, click Check
Out at which point you will be provided with a receipt for the
purchase which can be printed out for your records.
Security: The Collectics Shopping
Cart uses a Thawte digital certificate to authenticate our identity and
secure socket links, visible to you as https links, to securely transmit
all information. Occasionally, due to a technical flaw, some older browsers
will get a name check warning as you
enter the secure area of the site, but you will see Collectics and Collectics.com
in the certificate which appears and confirms our identity. You can then
click Continue to proceed to the shopping
cart screen. The combined use of secure socket links and a digital certificate
ensure that your personal information is being securely transmitted only
to Collectics.
Secure

you can also order and provide us feedback by
using our secure
order & comment form, which uses the
same secure transmission links and identity
authentication of our shopping cart but is an
easy to use form that you can complete yourself.
