Unique Art choker necklace features 3 gold butterflies, nicely detailed,
and mounted on a strip of black velvet framed on each end by gold
end pieces and a chain clasp making it adjustable for a good close
fit. We love the stark contrast between the shining gold butterflies
and the rich black velvet, and of course Art made fine costume jewelry
from the mid 1940's until the late 1960's, and jewelry collectors
like the diversity and high quality of the Art and ModeArt line
with this necklace being c. 1960s. It's marked "Art" with
the copyright symbol impressed in the metal on each end, and the
entire necklace is in very good condition and measures a total of
15.0" long including the chain and 10" for the velvet
strip alone. |

here is a very collectible signed ART enamel fish brooch pin. We
love the whimsical yellow of the fish face and the intricate goldtone
metalwork decorated with white enamel flowers. The enamel suface
paint is in excellent condition, and it's a fun design measuring

enamel on copper necklace features rich deep colors applied as an
abstract mosaic design and highlighted by the shades of blue that
form the predominant color of the necklace. It's comprised of 9
longer links and 2 shorter end links, all enameled and linked together
on their copper base. The necklace measures approximately 14.0"
end to end, and you may need to have a slightly longer chain added
to one end depending on how loose or tight you prefer to wear it.
There is a maker's mark of unknown attribution on the rear of one
of the links, impressed in the metal. The necklace is in very good
condition, part of a Stamford, CT estate collection of finer vintage
Italian jewelry and accessories. |

Highly
detailed hand painted Victorian screw on earrings c 1920s / 1930s,
probably Italian, that combine an inset painting of a young couple
sitting together in the countryside in an ornate Victorian metal
frame that really complements the design. The screws are hidden
by a clever hand worked flower blossom matched perfectly to the
body of the earrings. The detail in the metalwork is as impressive
and scarce as is the painting itself, and they combine into a special
piece at a special price. Measuring approximately 1.5" x 1.0"
not including the flower covering the screws, it comes to you direct
from a large Atlanta, Georgia estate full of early 20th century
finds and are in very good condition. /42 |

2 1.25" diameter open brass discs connected by a double chain
approximately 10" long. We really like this type of piece because
where you clip the two discs can make for quite different drapes
of the chain between the two. Both pieces are in excellent condition

Superb
quality Miriam Haskell necklace and earring set can be yours with
this new listing sure not to last long if past history on the
site is any indication. It has a beautiful combination of stones,
gilt metal objects, and carved wood pieces that have color, texture,
and shape variety that really makes this a special set. The earrings
are screw on and have Haskell impressed in the metal where the
screw is held in place. Haskell first began making jewelry commercially
about 1924, and intensively begain to create her unique flowers,
animals, and other organic materials in her jewelry. Miriam Haskell
jewelry has always been noted for the detailing, which directly
translated into the time it took to make and thus the cost, and
for the asymmetry of many of her designs of which this is a good
example. She purchased her beads mostly from France and Venice,
Italy, while most crystals came from Bohemia. This is a hard to
find design with an eye catching look; the necklace has its original
impressed Miriam Haskell metal tag while the clasp has the Patent
number and Miriam Haskell on the 2 sides. The earrings are screw
on and have Haskell impressed in the metal where the screw is
held in place. Both 28.0" long necklace and 1.0" diameter
earrings are in excellent condition with no missing pieces, direct
from a Pawleys Island, SC estate consignment.

Striking
goldtone metal and faux pearl vintage costume jewelry rope necklace
features center gold leaf with excellent detailing as the setting
for 3 faux pearls and 3 faux diamonds clustered in the middle flanked
by 2 smaller renditions of the same on each side. We love the drapery
effect, dropping about 2.75", of the multiple strands, perfect
on any kind of choker necklace to add additional flair. It has a
secure clasp closure and it's in excellent condition, measuring
approximately 16.0" end to end. |

Not
sure the exact stone or maker, but rest assured this is a very high
quality vintage sterling silver ring and matching sterling silver
pendant that's very hard to find. Everyone here loved the deep aquamarine
color of the stone. We believe the stone to be either American blue
topaz or perhaps zircon (not cubic zirconia which is synthetic)
and has a high refractive index which is responsible for it's diamond
like appearance. One thing is certain- nobody is going to wear this
ring and pendant without it coming across as a real fashion statement
sure to generate questions and complements, particularly because
of the striking color of the stones. The ring is marked on the interior
925 impressed in the metal and measures to approximately size 7.5;
the stones in the ring and the pendant both measure about 0.75"

1. Richly colored vintage rhinestone pin features deeply
faceted round rhinestones, both small and large, complemented by
a ring of elongated amber rhinestones and a large center rhinestone
to top it all off. The quality of these Austrian rhinestones is
quite high, and we particularly like the contrast of size, shape,
and color in this individually mounted piece. It measures approximately

plumage and lovely iridescent glass insert. This piece measures
2" high and 1.5" wide. There's a nice textural finish and good quality

listing! Pretty Tree of Life Artworks cat earrings, polymer resin
casting of original scrimshaw designs by Katherine McClelland. These
never worn earrings are still on the original paper label with an
extensive description of the process and how "polymer captures
all the fine detail of the original engraving. There is also a note
from the artist Kim McClelland and noting that each Art Works is
"hand cast" and offering up "Grace and Peace."
Artist Kim McClelland exhibits the fine detailing required in carving
and for which he is known. He actually creates scrimshaw works,
purchasing fossils from the Native American Indians in Alaska and
working around cracks, fissures and chunks of bark as he slices,
polishes, and engraves them. He will then create copies in a polymer
resin base to be able to put artworks in the hands of those who
could never afford a McClelland original scrimshaw and makes his

celluloid earrings feature the 0.875" diameter symbols and
matching ornamentation covering the screw on backs. The precision
with which these were done is pretty evident, and frankly we just
like the look done in the creamy vintage celluloid. Overall, the
earrings dangle to a length of approximately 1.5" so they're
a nice size, and both are in excellent and original condition.

Nice
three piece Sarah Coventry set of flower pin and matching earrings
in a bright, cheery yellow and goldtone metal stem, leaves, and
flower pod. Sarah Coventry, Inc., was founded in Newark, NJ, in
October, 1953, named after granddaughter Sarah of the founder of
Emmons Home Fashion Company Charles H. Stuart. The flower gold has
a brushed effect, while the leaves and stems have nice vein detail
reflecting higher quality production methods. The pin measures 3.5"
x 2.5" while the earrings measure 1.25" in diameter, and
all are in very good condition with each piece marked "Sarah
Cov". This set comes to you at a bargain price direct from
a New Haven, CT estate collection of finer vintage costume jewelry.

Very
hard to find marked Laguna faceted Aurora Borealis crystal bead
necklace that features a full 6 strands of tiny cut crystal beads
and ornamental aurora borealis tassles dangling from the two rhinestone
studded end clasps. It's hard enough to find large faceted crystal
Aurora Borealis vintage glass necklaces, but it's possibly impossible
to find this size of cut. The necklace is comprised of the very
petite and finely cut crystal, a very angular shape that has an
amazing effect on catching and reflecting the light. The strands
combine to really make a design statement, and each of the two end
bars are decorated with 7 inset faux diamonds. When outstretched,
the necklace reaches a length of approximately 16.0", and the
6 glass bead strands are designed to drape down in the front. It's
properly marked on the clasp "Laguna", the registered
trademark of Royal Craftsmen Inc. founded in New York City in 1944.
Laguna made simulated pearl jewelry and beaded jewelry using plastic,
colored glass, and faceted crystal beads. The necklace is in excellent
condition and comes to you direct from an Atlanta, GA estate collection
of vintage and antique jewelry and accessories.
