Fun, very hard to find original 1930s framed photo Butter Nut Bread advertising, with the classic images collectors love from this period. A kindly older gentleman baker hands a loaf of freshly baked bread to the young girl with her basket of groceries, jars of olives and pickles alongside him on the shelf. The graphics are crisp and clean, and the piece is marked in the lower left corner "Form No. 23 Printed in U.S.A." The piece is in good condition with some minor age wear in a few places, mounted in a simple wood frame and measuring approximately 16.0" high and 13.0" wide. Direct from the shelf of a Vermont country estate, period 30s advertising has become very difficult to find, especially with kitchen and home themes- and what better than fresh baked bread to add a special warmth to your kitchen.

If you weren't fortunate enough to get one of the "Special Hooters Air Edition" of Hooters Magazine #50 commemorating Hooter's 20 years in business, here's your chance to still own one of these collector copies with some great Hooters advertising. We figure it's only a matter of time before Hooters and this special 50th edition of Hooters Magazine harkens back to a bygone era when court cases and protesters will have finished off a restaurant chain like Hooters who still knows how to have tongue in cheek fun and not take itself too seriously. You'll enjoy reading the magazine's 90 pages, but more so you'll enjoy the pages and pages of beautiful Hooters girls in the Top 50 Hooters Girls of All Time section. Toward the back is a hilarious spoof of what could have happened to Hooters had radical protesters forced the chain to hire "Hooters Guys" and had magazine articles like "Brazilian or Thong- Which Speedo is Right For You?" There's some classic contemporary advertising throughout the magazine including special ads commemorating and congratulating Hooters from the likes of Coca-Cola and Michelob Magazine features make for an interesting read too, with articles on the history of Hooters from its founding in Clearwater, Florida, the original Hooters girl Lynne Austin, the launch of Hooters Air, Hooters sports teams like Nascar and speedboat racing, Hooters news and events, and much more. Included in a foldout inside the front cover are the covers from the other 49 original Hooters Magazines since the inception of its publishing. Direct from an Atlanta, GA estate of a former Hooters executive, the magazine is in mint condition and measures approximately 11.0" x 8.0"; cross listed on Memorabilia 1. Only 2 copies left!

Very pretty ceramic double Grey Poupon Dijon branded mustard condiment dish with vibrant red, blue, and green floral decoration handpainted on the interior of the two 2.5" diameter bowls. The detail is very strong in the flowers, but what we really like is the color and the size, small enough to use for a variety of purposes and to put most anywhere. The bottom is marked "Grey Poupon Dijon 1777" and has an artist's mark. The entire piece is in mint condition, and it measures approximately 5.0" long, 2.5" high, and 2.5" wide.

Very hard to find set of advertising trade cards c 1880s with super color lithography and a theme. This set of 3 is particularly fun and whimsical and features lithographs and marketing slogans of early soap products. 1. Super advertising card for Soapine, The Dirt Killer made by Kendall Mfg. Co. established in 1827 in Providence RI features a giant whale washed up on the beach with "Soapine Did It" on his side and some fun legends on the back describing the wondrous merits of the product noting that "It will be used in every house as soon as its merits are known as it relieves the drudgery of washing and scrubbing." (4.5" x 2.75") 2. Ask Your Grocer For Linen Soap (4.75" x 2.5") 3. Curtis Davis & Co., Boston MA - a soap dealer (4.25" x 2.5"). Louis Prang, a lithographer and printer, develops the idea of mass-producing small "trade cards" that could be adapted to the needs of individual advertisers at low cost in the 1870's. Illustrated trade cards reach the height of their popularity in the 1880s, not only with advertisers but also with the American public which becomes very interested in collecting them. All cards are in very good condition with near mint color lithographed images and only de minimus age wear on the rear. These early advertising cards easily go for $12 or more each, so enjoy the bargain pricing only at Collectics, part of a major estate collection and consignment of the finest advertising memorabilia and collectibles. /32 SOLD

From back when smoking was common, businesses used ashtrays as a promotional item to spread advertising for their brand and anticipating some degree of pilferage. Anyway, these smoking accessories are seldom made anymore, and the collecting area of tobacciana has exploded in popularity. Fortunately, you can still find nice pieces for less than the price of a new ashtray as evidenced in this vintage Binions Horseshoe black glass ashtray. The ashtray features 3 distinct promotional messages- for the hotel and casino, for the opportunity to see $1,000,000 in cash, and for the Sombrero Room for "Authentic Mexican Food." The ashtray measures approximately 3.25" in diameter and 1.5" high, and it's in very good condition reflecting some use but no damage.

Mint condition wood sign featuring Oceans Charbroiled Sea Food and Finest California Wines has a super shape and features a colorful and whimsical swordfish in the center. The colors and detail of this sign are well above the norm, and we like the blue lettering and fish contrasting with the black background of the advertising sign. It's also got a nice shape, curved at the top and measuring approximately 17.25" wide and a full 27.0" high at the highest point. Ready to hang on your wall, we took it right off the wall of a Hilton Head, SC oceanfront condominium.

You won't want to miss this commercial grade Bud Light beer electric advertising sign c 1992, one of the most famous designs of commercial advertising lighting for bars and restaurants that has been produced by Anheuser-Busch in the last 20 years. We really love the design of this bar light, with colorful ribbons circulating above the very realistic bottle of Budweiser Light, the King of Beers. Note the bubbles in the bottle of Bud Light, visible even when not lit but really coming out when the lights are turned on. It's in very good condition with some very minor scratches not visible at all when lit, works perfectly, and ready to hang on your game room wall. These older breweriana lights are very hard to find available to the general public, and of course Bud and Bud Light are perhaps the two most sought after brands in the field. This was an original contracted for directly by Anherser-Busch and retains the original paper labels on the rear noting the Bud Light and A-B copyright and date. The sign measures approximately 22.0" high, 17.0" wide, and 5.5"deep, made by Everbrite, Inc. of Greenfield, WI, and taken right off the recreation room wall of a Greenwich, CT country estate; cross listed on Lamps 1.   $265.00
PA008 Old Southern Railways set of 6 metal ashtrays, probably pewter, with each measuring approximately 2.875" in diameter and marked on the back Southern Railway impressed in the metal. Old train memorabilia is hard to find anyway, and tobacciana is particularly difficult given the long past days of smoking in public places and quality ashtrays that one could easily run off with. The ashtrays are all in good condition except for tarnishing of the metal, some of all of which may come off with polishing- but we prefer to leave old surface cleaning to buyer discretion. $45.00/ set of 6
PA009 Classic advertising with the Dionne Quintuplets! I bet you didn't know that Baby Ruth candy bars were the "first and only candy served the "Quints". Amazing pictures of each of the five quintuplets with their commentary on Baby Ruth and their names Cecile, Marie,Yvonne, Annveet, and of course Emile. If not funny enough already, down at the bottom Allan Roy Dafue M.D. says "Baby Ruth, being rich in Dextrose, vital food-energy sugar, and other palatable ingredients, makes a pleasant, wholesome candy for children." This original piece of advertising dates to 1941 from our research and is mounted in plastic on cardboard. It measures approximately 13.25" high by 5.5" wide. Outstanding for a frame! $21.00
PA010 They don't make advertising featuring tobacco products anymore, and collectors are snapping them up. From an estate liquidation of a long haul trucker, this vintage glass ashtray is a marketing piece of the Thurston Trucking Company and features the states in which it concentrates routes- North and South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. We have a particular fondness for travel and advertising related tobacciana here so we usually snap it up for our clients when we have the chance. The ashtray has great color graphics set against the smoky gray glass, and it's in very good condition with light wear measuring approximately 6.5" x 5.0" and 0.5" high. Bargain price! $18.00

Normally the vintage John F. Kennedy memorabilia are listed in either that category or in Books & Records, but we wanted to expose advertising collectors to some of the classic ads to be found in select Time and Newsweek magazines. As such, check out this vintage Newsweek magazine that tracks the early days of the Kennedy administration and those closest to JFK in Congress and his administration. It's a January 29, 1962 Newsweek magazine features Kennedy's Republicans, the feature National Affairs article that details members of the Republicans in the Kennedy administration and working with JFK. It also captures the early days of American dissatisfaction with the United Nations as U.N. Secretary General U Thant is on the cover and the article questions how the U.N. has "swollen to twice its original size, the platform of a mass of tiny states interested less in keeping the peace than in attacking 'colonialism'." Vintage advertising in this edition include Cadillac, American Airlines, Benkins Van Lines, GTE, B. F. Goodrich, Avis, Westinghouse, Bell Telephone System, Goodyear, Seagrams VO, and more. The magazine is in very good condition, has the original address label, and is great as a gift to any Kennedy collector, advertising collector, or scholar of the turbulent years of the 1960s, part of a major JFK estate collection of rare memorabilia documenting Kennedy's life and times.

Very hard to find Rock Ice neon sign that has that eye catching look that you see in the best works of neon art lighting. Advertising promotions in neon are not inexpensive to create, so distributors are very selective in how many they order and to what businesses they are given. Now with a chance to own one of the best breweriana signs on Collectics, the Rock Ice beer sign has the most desirable colors of blue, white, and yellow that make for a perfect contrast in neon, and it's in mint condition measuring approximately 23.0" high and 25.5" wide at the widest point. It's designed to stand upright on its own or it can be wall mounted as you so desire, and it has a pull cord for on/off operation. The neon was designed and produced by Woorden Glass of Antigo, WI and has serial number 078640. It's also a well constructed and substantial piece of neon art lighting, with the indoor gas tube transformer made by Actown Electrocoil of Spring Grove, IL; cross listed on Lamps 1. $245.00
