New listing! Two rare selections from an important collection of bakelite and vintage plastic. It's particularly notable to find these multi-colored bakelite earrings that go with the bangles. 1 Near impossible to find zig zag bakelite bangle set including very rare bakelite zig zag earrings. It will be impossible for you not to get complements if you wear this striking, eye catching bracelet measuring approximately 2.75" in diameter and a chunky 1.0" wide and the matching earrings 1.0" in diameter. Both bangle and earrings are in excellent condition; the yellow on the earrings is slightly darker than that on the bracelet, probably from age, but you would only know upon close examination. 2 Rare 3 color laminated bakelite bangle in 1930s Art Deco colors of black, red, and yellow, measuring approximately 2.75" in diameter and almost 1.0" wide. It's rare to see three color bakelite bracelets, and these three colors look particularly great together. A second is available if you so desire to make a matched pair. 3 Very rare 3 color laminated bakelite earrings in mint condition and a near perfect match for the 3 color bangle above, measuring approximately slightly over 1.0" in diameter and nice and chunky. The colors are red, yellow, and a deep green marbled, and while the dark green is not an exact match with bracelet #2 above, it's so close that no one would ever be able to tell except with very close examination under the light. Bargain prices for this rare vintage bakelite from a major collection, new to the market and sure not to last long. Cross listed on Art Deco 2 & Bakelite & Lucite 2, where you'll find other pieces from this important midwestern collection. SOLD
BT042 Josef Rindskopf and Son early 20th century cobalt blue highly iridescent marbleized vase. This item is of cobalt blue glass which has bright white, red, blue and purple glass feather striations that really make for an interesting effect and a real technical achievement. The vase has a lustrous iridescent blue and cranberry color and is an original cut and blown from the top item which is also known as a shear top. This vase, though very similar in design and quality to those produced by Loetz around the turn of the century, evidences Rindskopf's own artistic direction and design. The vase measures approximately 6.0" high and 3.0" in diameter, and it's in excellent condition. Cross listed on Deco 2. /525  SOLD
